Our new Christmas shop is almost ready for our Christmas season which starts on November 26. We have had excellent local tradespeople help us to make this project possible. Our beautiful post and beam shop has lots of room for visitors, with washrooms and a cosy stone fireplace to sit beside while you drink hot chocolate and enjoy our relaxing country hospitality. Ria is enjoying making wreaths in her special shop.
We have better roads, lots of parking, and new sliding hills. Our farm is a great place to get into the Christmas spirit. Our free tractor and wagon rides to the plantation make cutting a tree fun and easy. We have a bonfire to warm fingers and toes.

Fun For All Ages!
If you would like to relax and take lots of time for your visit, consider coming to our farm during the week to enjoy our warm and cosy new shop. …we are always fully operational. We have many grandparents who bring their young grandkids, retirees who enjoy walking through the plantations, and young families who visit from Monday to Friday when the pace is just a little slower.
Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides
On weekends we will have horse drawn sleigh rides. The cost is $2 per person (all ages). Bring your cameras - this will be a great photo opportunity! The horses will be wearing their jingle bells.
Delicious Snacks For Everyone
Along with our popular hot chocolate, cookies, and hot dogs, we will now have a wider selection of goodies. Enjoy chili or bacon on a bun followed by Emmy's freshly baked treats such as apple crisp, pie, butter tarts, muffins etc.
Wreaths: Our wreaths are made with Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir. Fraser Fir holds its needles extremely well. Our personal wreath was made the first week of December and I took it down in July….still in amazing condition. We usually leave it up because it is a good test, and it is just so lovely. I start to take orders in early November at 613-256-2014 or 613 256-3029.
